The kids triathlons are on Saturday 30 November at Pilot Beach. Start times are 1.10 for 11-13 years, 2.00 for 8-10 years and 2.20 for 6-7 years. Up to 10 years old the race consists of a swim/wade followed by a run. The older kids also do a bike leg.
It was fantastic to see a keen contingent of our nippers recently participating in the Ironkids Triathlons. It would be great to see all of our nippers kids participating in the Camden Haven Triathlon. This weekend is hosted by the Port Macquarie Triathlon Club who rendered us great assistance for this year's King of The Mountain. We are all looking forward to seeing our friends from PMTC again for a fun weekend. Registration details can be found atwww.portmactriclub.com.au
On Sunday 1 December the senior triathlon is on. Great to see our secretary - Rowena Bennett, treasurer - Susan Windsor and nippers mum - Cath Cook are flying the CHSLSC flag by competing in the Camden Haven Triathlon as a team. Our president Glen O'Brien and gear steward Craig Windsor intend to compete as individuals. It would be great to get a male team to compete on Sunday as well. Plenty of fit dad's have just completed their bronze so it shouldn't be too hard put together a team of men to take on Rowena, Susan and Cath.
Nippers Christmas Party
The Nippers Christmas Party will be held immediately following nippers on Sunday 8 December. Every family will be required to bring a plate. Rosie Model (Cohen & Noah's mum) has done plenty of work to ensure that we will have a great variety of junk food for the kids to party on. Rosie will be at the registration table on this Sunday with a list of food required for the party. Each nippers parent needs to see Rosie to have their pl ate/food items allocated for the party. Suggest that you get in early so that you get one of the easier dishes to prepare. Rosie also needs at least four Nippers parents to set up the party while the kids are doing Nippers on 8 December.
If you will not be at Nippers this weekend please call Rosie on 0405 512 568 to get your job allocated.
Stay safe. Looking forward to seeing you all on the beach soon.
Glen O'Brien - President
